DEAR PATRONS

My family hails from Karachi, Bombay, and Punjab, and so, inevitably, food is a big part of our life. My mother, my aunts, and my sister, are all amazing cooks. I was lucky to have eaten their cooking and learned their art growing up.

After 12 years in Corporate America, I started Curry Village Foods in 2011 to give Pakistani and Indian Cuisine in the Bay Area an all-natural makeover. Sold out cooking classes in Saratoga led to gourmet kababs and curries in Bay Area homes. Then followed our catering service to Bay Area corporations with a commitment to rid offices of preservative-laden, artificially flavored lunches.

With the launch of Zareen’s Restaurant in Mountain View in March 2014, we brought contemporary Pakistani/Indian dishes, made with love and integrity, to the foodie scene in the Bay Area. The response surpassed anything we had imagined. Rave reviews and word of mouth meant we soon outgrew our space. Fueled by the love and loyalty of our patrons, we opened our second restaurant in Palo Alto in October 2016.

The food at Zareen’s is the food we and our kids enjoy at our home. We hope you and your family will also enjoy the authentic, wholesome, and intensely flavorful cuisine we offer.

In health,

Zareen Khan
(Chef, Owner)
